Novelis Names Roxana Molina Chief Procurement Officer
Former Ford Motor Company executive brings to Novelis more than 30 years of global procurement experience

ATLANTA, March 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Novelis Inc., the world leader in aluminum rolling and recycling, today announces Roxana Molina as Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer. Molina will lead the company's global metal and non-metal procurement programs. Based at Novelis' global headquarters in Atlanta, she will report to President and CEO Steve Fisher and serve on the Executive Committee.

Molina brings more than 30 years of global procurement experience to Novelis, spanning a diverse range of roles. During her 25-year career at Ford Motor Company, she served in several purchasing leadership positions in Europe, North America and South America.

"Roxana's impressive global experience managing thousands of suppliers while delivering record cost savings in challenging business environments will make her an excellent addition to Novelis," said Fisher. "Her proven track record and leadership, specifically within the automotive industry, will help us achieve our strategic goals and better compete with steel and other materials."

She most recently served as Global Purchasing Director of Engine and Powertrain Installations at Ford. In this position, she directed a team of 200 professionals based in the United States, Mexico, China, India, Brazil and United Kingdom. Among her many accomplishments at Ford, Molina helped transform the automaker's South America purchasing organization, leading cross-functional programs that increased vehicle output and reduced supplier-related production losses.

She earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Univerisidad de Lima and a Master of Business Administration from University of Texas. She has achieved Six Sigma Green Belt certification and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. 

Molina replaces former Chief Procurement Office Nick Madden, who announced his retirement in 2019.
