ZURICH, July 24, 2006 – Novelis Europe today announced an increase of 50 Euros per tonne on the conversion price for all plain, general-purpose aluminium sheet, used in a variety of engineering end-use applications. The price increase is in response to increased costs for energy, materials and other items, and is effective for new orders with delivery after October 2, 2006, if not covered by an existing contractual agreement.
